I already knew i enjoyed eating the vegan alternatives to those things so it was super easy for me! When i first started eating vegan i wasn’t sure if i’d be 100% vegan but i felt amazing!!!īefore going vegan, even though i was eating plenty, i felt deprived, i turned to bad foods and had some binges, i would then feel disgusting after eating so much, i’d always feel like i need a cheat meal or some treats. It was very easy for me to make the switch, the only things i was eating that weren’t vegan was: chicken, tuna, eggs, chocolate and some other sweet treats and occasionally ice cream. I discovered more about the impact eating animal products has on the environment and really accepted just how cruel the industry is in regards to animal welfare. I’d say educate yourself! Put your body’s health first! nourish your body and take good care of yourself, you are BEAUTIFUL at any shape or size, confidence is a hard thing to build on and takes some time I don’t feel like i had a super hard time adjusting because i educated myself on the amount i should be eating daily, how important it is to EAT enough to keep your body functioning at high levels, i was missing my period for almost a year which is a big sign that something is not right! I started following people on social media that were weightlifting and eating more food and didn’t care about the number on the scales and my mind slowly changed as well. I researched more about the health risks of being underweight short and long term. I realised that my health and wellbeing is more important than looking super thin and being a low number on the scale.
